...Cam and I were approached by Paul Barresi to do a video. It was our first and it launched our careers in porn. We were really in our prime back then in November of 1999. We looked phenomenal - totally pumped and ripped in all the right places. Our camera man made us look sensational and he later became the director of photography for most all of our productions up until two years ago when we went gonzo with most of our productions.

Porn was all very new to us at that time so we listened and learned the do’s and don’ts the “hard” way. The whole thing snowballed for us as we met new people in the biz and went to parties and events. In the porn world, it all happens real fast because people are in and out in a heartbeat as most producers continue to seek out new talent. All these rules seemed to apply to everyone else but us. For some reason, we’ve had the ability to develop our careers and our business and do all the necessary things to remain happy and content which in turn, translates into stability and success. And with the advent of Apple Computer technology, equipment and programs, most everything was at our fingertips - literally.

But I think our long term success has probably been because we started the porn thing late in life when we already had successful careers and had some direction in life not to mention some skills and knowledge. And most important was the fact that we were a solid couple, well grounded. I can’t help but think that’s why we’ve been taken seriously and as a force to be reckoned with.

Well ten years have passed and we’re still fuckin’ and why not? Its fun and we’re lovin’ it and fans both new and old are still watching. If Paul hadn’t picked us out of the crowd, I probably wouldn’t be here writing about all of this. We worked in no less than 5 movies for him. He was very demanding but did manage to capture some of our best on screen performances. Condom performances that is. Because as you all know, we went on to shed the condoms and open our own bareback production business.

And you all know that barebacking is a choice that Cam and I made for our own reasons. I promise to go into that in another entry.
